Taking inspiration from the agate stone, Agateware is pottery decorated with a combination of contrasting colored clays. This pottery technique allows for both precise and thought out patterns, and free random effects.

Join us for the 2.5 hour workshop and have a chance to make you own Agateware bowl or platter.  We will first start by layering and sandwiching the red and white clay,  and then with just a few slices, you will be ready to transform your newly marbled clay into the final product.

All items will then be clear glazed and ready for pick-up 2 weeks following the workshop.
