With new modern adaptations and applications, it's safe to say that the fun and addictive art of tapestry weaving is no longer trapped in the 70's! In this workshop, you will be taught how to create a strong weaving foundation while being taught the difference between fibers, how to plan your design as well as some great insider tips and tricks.  You will leave with all the knowledge on how to finish your beautiful woven tapestry at home.

(You will get a half hour break for lunch.  Please bring your own lunch so we do not cut into our weaving time too much. )

About the instructor:

Carmen Vicente is a brewer and beer writer by day, and a fibre enthusiast in every other waking moment. A seasoned knitter, novice spinner, and passionate weaver, she creates custom woven tapestries in the evenings and on weekends (aka, when cell phones are free!). When she's not planning her next tapestry or sitting at the loom, she enjoys running, eating foods that contain a lot of sugar, and keeping up with the Kardashians.
